I have been upgraded my WordPress blog to the latest version. This time it’s smooth and no need to upgrade manually. Upgrade it now.  

Werdpress 2.9 is available! Please Update Now..Huhu! This mean we should consider and better we update our Blog Dot Com. How ever it’s up to you . As long as I cannot upgrade it automatically, so I have to download it again. I don’t know why. Hopefully it didn’t involved with my webhost. Anyway let’s do it. Just like before;

1. Log in to your dashboard(admin area)

2. Click Please update now

3. Click Download 2.9

4. Save WordPress-2.9.zip in your directory

5. Extract files, open and delete wp-config-sample

6. Upload all into public_html with ftp software(overwrite)

7. After completed upload, open your browse(Internet Explorer or Mozilla..) and Type Your Domain Name/wp-admin

8. Browse it and click Upgrade WordPress Database and Click Continue

9. Done!

Maybe different people with a different method but this is my method. Maybe you have your own steps.
